Edit: I noticed a flaw in the image I uploaded and fixed it. But for some reason I can't upload the new file on the edit page for the image. If anyone knows hwo to fix it, please let me know.

In honor of the new Sailor Moon coming out this year, I thought I'd do some Sailor Scout/Senshi pics. Then I thought how cute to do some pin ups.

My first is Neptune. I tried to stay in as classic a pin-up pose as possible. I tried to reference Vargas who is the master of all pin-ups. And I realised that the look on his models faces was always what really engaged the viewer. For Neptune I chose a dreamy, amazed expression. Of course for Neptune to be truly human, she needed an actual face. For that, my inspiration was Emma Stone who IMO looks like what Neptune would look like. For her body, I had a friend of mine from work, Elmira, pose so I could have a realistic reference. I needed to get the proportions more human and less anime. She kindly agreed and this is the result.

I'm hoping this will turn into a monthly endeavour so that I have enough for a calendar by the end of the year. High hopes indeed! But how bout we just start with one!

Thank you very much! I tried to make her more realistic-looking. I tried to focus on the facial expression. I think that makes her more charming. Thanks again!
